Today at church Andy and I got pink roses for every grandmother and a can of mixed nuts for every grandfather. It was a special service. I did not know that Grandparents day is a national holiday signed by Jimmy Carter in 1979. That's the year I was born! Today marks the 30th year anniversary. I think that this day is just as special as mother's day and father's day. I am thankful for my grandparents and for my children's grandparents! Love you mom and dad and thank you for being a wonderful role modelfor my children!
