What I am Thankful for...

I could not go through this season without listing who and what I am most thankful for...It seems the holiday season makes you stop and think about what matters to you and your life...I think about a comment Andy, my husband made in a sermon he preached the other night...He was talking about taking communion and how we needed to prepare ourselves for it ---it makes you take a look in your life and "spring" clean..he said in his sermon that the early church had communion weekly...imagine the soul searching that went on....we have communion set aside for special occasions in our church.. I don't think either way is wrong...just that we remember Christ...and so I want to take a moment and say what I am most thankful for this season...

1. For my husband and his strength and love, and yes..patience

2. For my kids and all their silly and wonderful ways, they have made me the mommy I am today...and even the teacher I am today..

3. For God and his salvation

4. For my mom and dad and believing in me and making it easier

5. For my friends for praying for me and understanding me

6. For my sister and brother for loving me and praying for me

7. For my church...for giving us a chance to minister and love them
