Maybe there was a time in your life when you looked at what your kids were doing now and thought " there is no way I have a kid old enough to do that"... it makes you seem old or something... lol..well, today I had one of those moments... Drew mowed grass today with a push mower... no not by himself but with me watching every move... he was so proud of himself... as I was sitting there, enjoying the beautiful weather I thought...I can't believe Drew is old enough to be doing this... and then I smiled... Drew told me this chore was a $3.00 chore...I just laughed and said..don't tell Grandpa Bill that or he will be having him mow his grass for that kind of money... obviously this fascination of mowing grass will pass and the $3.00 a yard will too!! I don't ever remember getting paid for mowing grass and I sure didn't enjoy doing it...lol...love you dad! While all this was going on with Drew, Emilee was helping Andy plant beans and corn... it was a funny sight as she placed each seed in the ground... Andy all the while getting frustrated as she had not placed them just right... Ok, Let me say something here... I have planted with Granny all the time growing up and I never remember a technique to it all.. you just threw the beans down the row and covered them up... her beans were great...well it is not that way with my husband who has to have each bean planted exactly the right distance... gotta love him.... Emilee told me this job was about a 23456700.00 dollar job... they are too funny! well, gotta go... love you all.. grad classes are over for a bit so I will have more time to post happenings in our life... goodnight!
