Well, we have started a little tradition at our house on Easter morning... I hide the kids baskets somewhere in the house and leave little clues that they must follow and hunt for their surprise...it is a lot of fun and I enjoy the excitement it creates for such a special time of year... (Christ dying on the cross for our sins) The kids woke up and ran to find all of the clues...after the basket was found they had one more clue that led them to Andy's office out in the garage...when they opened the door all you could hear was chirping! They were thrilled! 
Emilee kept naming her chick different things like " Girl, Caren (I thought this was too funny cuz Caren is my sis!), and Yellowy. I think she changed it every day until a tragic thing happened....she had it out in the yard playing with it and "accidently" stepped on it... We took it inside and laid it in the box to "get better". Well there was no fixing the poor thing... we had to get rid of it.. Emilee came by to see it one time and ran and told me it wasn't there anymore it must have flown away... I said yes, straight to heaven... she said chicks go to heaven?" I said yes, this one does!" The things that parents keep from their kids! One day I will tell her about her chick! Andy went to the feed store and got her another one.
