Happy Birthday, Drew!

We had a wonderful time with the family on the weekend before Drew's 8th birthday. (He turns 8 on Martin Luther King Day) We have been making it a family tradition to always get together for his birthday. My sister came in from Cincinnati with her husband and spent the night with us. Mom and Dad drove up from Eastern Kentucky and spent the night too. I always love it when the family can all get together. My brother Rodney usually makes the trip but he is supervisor now at his job in the coal mines and he has to work on Saturday...we sure did miss him being with us....Some of the presents Drew got were the guitar hero game for his wii and a football game... he wanted money for his birthday too and so he had some cards with cash as well...his cousins also spent the night and had a slumber party...he had a great time! Birthday's are very special to me and I try to make it the best day of the year for them. We played the guitar hero practically all night and then spread out around the living room and watched a movie until they all crashed. It was fun and the best part we were on time for church this morning too! But, I am ready for a nap...

Rod is not a supervisor! He is a mechanic for the mines.
