My Weekend Away

Well my wonderful sister, Caren called this week and surprised Andy and I with a weekend away from the kids. Our anniversary was back in November and Andy had a wedding to perform and so we could not go away to celebrate. She has paid for us a hotel room and everything! What a great sis! I will have to make it up to her later when she finally has children of her own. Being married to a minister has its ups and downs, getting away sometime is difficult. Although I feel the ministry should come first at times and at others the family. We are going to have a great time. Caren is taking the kids to the festival of lights at the zoo and I think on to watch a movie or ice skating...the kids are so excited. They love spending time with her and her husband, Eric. I will have to visit my blogger friends after the eventful weekend and tell you all about it...oh yeah Andy shot a 9 point deer tonight...I am so happy he finally got one...well, Drew is happy..lol
