A day in the life of a mom...
I am so exhausted tonight as I sit down to write this blog....I was thinking of all the "stuff" I have been doing and thought I would share with you and maybe get some sympathy...lol...I got up early this morning, put a load of laundry in the washer, and rushed into work, taught children with disabilities, lesson planned, took a phone call from parent and had to send child home with fever, mom couldn't come get child until late after school , had to wait for parent to come, got games ready for church's women's cookie exchange, posted online homework of the last 3 assignments for master's degree I am working on, rushed home, ordered pizza, went to church to decorate, made vegetable tray for dinner and no bake cookies, came home ate pizza-- cold and drank water fast and gave myself a headache, tried on 5 outfits getting ready to go to party, looked in mirror and thought how I need to lose more weight, dressed Emilee and fixed her hair, ran out in the rain and over to church, had a good time at party, had women make candy canes and a decorating contest --best gingerbread house, took down decorations from dining hall, cleaned up dining hall, did dishes at dining hall, came home took a shower, gave Emilee a bath, laid clothes out for Drew and Emilee for tomorrow's school, laid my own clothes out, packed lunches, moved laundry from washer to dryer, loaded dish washer, had family devotions, had prayer request, and now I am writing this blog.... Wow, no wonder I am so tired... It seems sometimes my life is so rushed and I am pulled in so many needed directions it is hard to find time for myself...I joke with the kids that I am praying for a snow day....but I really need a snow day...well good night and hope all have a restful night...maybe tomorrow will be slower...

Wow, just reading about your day made me tired! I know that you're a great mom and pastor's wife though. I hope you get your snow day here soon - it sounds like you need it. :-)
